About Me

The Land Line Quarterly
The Land Line Quarterly is made by a loose collective of companions, open to any and all. As a quarterly, we're shifting away from the news and printing more essays and interviews. We're excited about work that's raunchy, flamboyant, interdisciplinary, and intellectually rigorous. Layout is done by hand, by all of us. The paper is ad-free because we'd rather use that space for bizarre comics and fleshed out essays. Our printing funds come from benefit shows, readings, and film screenings, because they help make this a community paper. Most of us make zines, or write blogs, and we love the anything-goes nature of self-publishing.
